Had dinner with the cousins before they ventured up to Santa Barbara for summer school to learn more English. Auntie's sister lives up there and so the kids there also came down to pick them up. I hadn't realized that they had grown up so much though they behaved pretty close to when they were young (-five or six years; so much energy still. x__x)

After that, I went into a food coma and passed out for two hours before going to see Bruno with two friends of mine and spent the entire time giggling either at the movie or at the guys squirming next to me (I don't blame them really since it's the OC and it's intense but when is a full-grown jock squirming in his seat like a girl next to his girlfriend NOT funny?).
So yes, to those who have not seen it and are planning to: bring a friend who is tough against the likes of /b/. It's not for the faint of heart. "It was worse than cancer" <-- XD

My cousins are coming over today! I thought it was Wednesday today so I threw a fit about not being told until I realized that I was told "maybe Thursday or Friday" and that today is Thursday. Whoops. Mom's birthday is on the 14th too so we're going down to San Diego to terrorize the animals at the animal park.

Why is July so BUSY?
I want to have a BBQ/pool party at my house but it looks like it really will be pushed back to early August due to the above and due to people being lame and going to things like Otakon and SDCC. Look out for an invite soon, s'all I'm saying! I'm hoping to get Wes to come too so he can cook yummy Texan BBQ because I miss his face. Though he might throw me into the pool again.

Randomly, finally got my groove back for liaisons_rp after like...three months. I hit some weird burnout point due to work and BLAH timing but hopefully having two new characters should spark something! Playing in the 1700's France setting still makes me happy. And logs. Delicious logs make me very happy. I know there's a few new people on the list so um...check it out if it sounds interesting. There be many sexy parties and scandals. :B

Back from AX and exhausted. It was fun doing Artist Alley with people poking at my keychains all day long. lol....sorry Hye and Alice for my horrible organization when I was away....

So yeah, not much in the way of programming this year that tickled my fancy and I did have to walk up and down Fig a few times when I couldn't get onto the tram due to no wristband but eh, mile walk as Chun-Li in downtown LA in broad daylight? Not too bad...

Things:

* Thanks to all you awesome people who I saw in Artist Alley and thanks for visiting my little isolated corner of the world and keeping me company. <3 Art-wise, I did pretty well (made everything back and then a little more). Sold a lot of merch, three prints, and even got commissioned.

* HETALIA IS EVERYWHERE. I DO NOT HAVE POLAND OR LITHUANIA AMONG MY TWENTY DESIGNS. I DID NOT EVEN KNOW THOSE TWO COUNTRIES WERE POPULAR. AND NO, MEXICO DOES NOT EXIST. I had to put a sign up otherwise I'd answer that question x 1000000
(to those new on the list or somehow found my lj, the only things I know from Hetalia are from the anime. And Poland was there for two seconds. I'm entertained by Hetalia as a five-minutes-before-bed watch but am not in the fandom enough to know about Poland. I did once sneak into the country once for eight hours though. TL;DR, Val knows not why Poland is popular.)

* Thank you to everyone that turned up for Fruits Basket! And thanks Vince for awesome shots! <3 And I"m sorry to those I confused about the timing. I never did change it to Friday but I guess I wasn't clear. T.T

* Apparently me dressed in knee-highs, a short skirt and a Wicked shirt while having Tohru ribbons in my hair = me cosplaying Naruto. I is not a Hinata. D:

* I got a charley horse while cosplaying Chun-li (SCARY). That was somewhat painful. Especially since I was sitting at my booth trying my best not to scream in pain while people poked at the artwork. But yes, I had to get up and pose a lot in this costume. PAINFUL.
Guys liked to ask me to kick them and this one little 7-year-old boy ran up to my booth once and yelled "Chun-li! You're hot!" and ran away. lol.

* I slipped out of Masq to go participate in the Gong Show and won Worst in Show. With a duet with me as Kotonoha and Yan voicing Makoto off-stage with zombie gurgling noises. More on this maybe later. But this means that I:

1. won a lot of crappy DVDs including Japanese porn. But hey, I don't have to buy Gravitation ever. I have to sort through them all now...
2. I have a free pass to next year's AX. Yan does too.
3. I am now known as the Girl with the Decapitated Head.


I'm really tired so pictures and stuff maybe later.
